However, the usurper's army fails to capture Prince Talon, who flees to his father's former allies. Years later, a grown-up Talon returns to Edan disguised as a mercenary, selling his magical sword with three blades to all who desire it. At this moment, a rebellion is brewing in the capital of the former kingdom, led by the son of the former king's first minister, Mika, and his sister, Alana. But betrayal plays into Cromwell's hands, as the leader of the rebels falls into his grasp. Talon agrees to help the insurgents free their leader. However, neither he, nor Cromwell, nor Alana suspect that the dead sorcerer, Huzia, has not returned to his grave and intends to regain his former power.
