In one moonlit night, a rather charming giant kidnapped young Sophie directly from her crib at the orphanage of Mrs. Clonkers. The villain took the child on a journey full of fun, thrilling, and magical adventures. The friendly Big Friendly Giant is a kind giant who blows sweet dreams through the slightly ajar windows of children's bedrooms. He fills their dreams with kindness and tranquility. After Sophie learns that a terrible gang of villains is heading to England to eat innocent girls and boys, she decides to put an end to their vile deeds. She has to enlist the help of her rather enormous companion. Unlike the Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater, and Bonecruncher, the Big Friendly Giant is a good giant who blows sweet dreams into children's windows and sends them good dreams. When Sophie finds out that the monstrous gang of villains is heading to England to devour innocent boys and girls, she begins to prepare herself to stop them once and for all with the help of her new much larger friend.
